In the writing plan; first the concept of free times is dealt with, then the topic of play is handled in a related manner and finally arrived at the theme of sports as an extension of games. Accordingly; sports are investigated from a hobbyist’s viewpoint rather than the context of professional occurrence. Within the research; the contribution of sporting to children and even to adults are emphasized especially in the context of mental hygiene.
