Abstract

The aim of the study is to examine the effects of museum visits on preschool children’s positive feelings and knowlegde towards museums. The study is designed in experimental model and it is an qualitative one. The study group includes 58 preschoolers from 4 different classrooms and 10 preschoool tescher candidates who accompany the school groups. The school groups participated in the educational activities that hold on Rahmi Koç Museum, İstanbul Modern Museum and Nezahat Gökyiğit Botanical Garden in spring semester of 2014-2015 academic year.
