Abstract

This study aims to identify the opinions of the math teachers for the program of secondary school education math course which has been introduced since the academic year 2013-2014. There search is a qualitative study. There search was carried out with a total of 23 teachers working in Adiyaman, Kahramanmaras and Osmaniye. The determination of the working group was based on volunteerism. The semi-structured interview form developed by the researchers as a data collection tool was used. The interview form consists of six questions. The content analysis was used to analyze the data obtained in the study. As the result of the analysis, teachers find the program as dense, in effective and in efficient. Also, they find time in sufficient and say that the program should be prepared separately for the types of schools. However, they have met the spiral program generally positive and saw the program as contributing more than the previous program.
