Abstract

Anger is a natural emotion resulting from frustration or fear. It can negatively affect life when considering their results. The study aims to reveal anger management tendencies and anger management styles class teacher candidates. The study comprises 41 4th grade students studying at DPU faculty of education class teacher department in 2015-2016 education years. According to the study results, 58,5% of the participants prefer to stay silent when they are angry and they think that they get angry when the rules are ignored and 92,7 % of the participants think that teachers should get anger management education. Teacher candidates are advised, relying on the study results, to follow the publications related to anger management, to do anger management exercise with samples, to find ways to express their ideas without getting angry and to form ways to fight anger
