Abstract

A successful process of oud education depends on oud lesson programs prepared according to proper goals and a methodology in accordance with the objective. With reference to this principle, the main aim of the study is to investigating the opinions of virtuoso oud-performers’ about their styles, ecole preferences in oud education. Qualitative research design is preferred and case study is used. The study group consists of 10 oud virtuosos. Data were collected through semi-structured interview form. Data analysis is done through content analysis. At the end of the study; the opinions of virtuoso oud-performers’ about their styles, ecole preferences and technics that they used in oud education were found.
