Being selective about the programs that the child watch is important to prevent negative effects of television. In this research, it is aimed to investigate views of mothers who have 5-6 aged children. Participants are 63 mothers have 5-6 aged children, medium and higher socio-economic level, in Kadıköy and Beşiktaş İstanbul in 2014. (N=63). Semi structured interviews made with 10 of them. Percentage and frequencies used as statistic techniques .
