For the purpose of this aim, document analyzing is used in this research as a part of qualitative research methods. Illustrations in 1st class course books that are prepared on the bases of Life Science Programs and published in years 2009 and 2015 are analyzed one by one and illustrations including common values are identified. According to the findings, it is found that illustrations, which are putting emphasis on the same values, tried to be explained in both books with the same events and facts as well as observed that illustrations in course books, which are prepared in line with the program published in 2015, and common values are given more importance.
