Abstract

In early childhood term, developing positive relationships with peers is important for the child's social development. Obsessive behaviors observed during this period are important in terms of giving clues about the frequency of showing this behavior in the individual's future life. The level of bullying-oriented behaviors of children aged 24-36 months is the subject of this research. The study group of the study group consisted of 50 children aged between 24-36 months who were educated and cared for in day nurseries and kindergartens affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Policy selected by random (random sampling) method in Düzce province. Data were collected using the Personal Information Form and Bullying Orientation Interview/Activity form. The data obtained as a result of the interviews/activities were analyzed and interpreted according to the criteria determined using the content analysis. It has been found that children who are living in fragmented families, children who are exposed to domestic violence or child discrimination, and working parents have higher bullying orientations than other children. As a result of the research, it was deemed appropriate to investigate the relationship between bullying attitudes of children and other developmental characteristics and to repeat the research by supporting the development of children supported.
