Literature shows that involvement has significant benefits for the development and effectiveness of school as a whole, as well as for students, families and teachers. Despite the legal registrations to ensure participation and some projects carried out by the MNE in Turkey, the practices are far from reaching the desired level. The attitudes of parents, teachers and administrators is one of the most important factor determining how and which level they will involve or their wishes/expectations for parental involvement.
