Abstract

The fact that school managers investigate the relationship between the use of intellectual capital in their schools and the perceptions of innovation management ability is a descriptive study in the screening model. The sample of the study consists of 169 school administrators working in Sultangazi and Eyüp districts. The "Intellectual Capital Scale" developed by Şahin (2011) and "Innovation Management Scale on Schools" developed by Bülbül (2012) were used as data collection tools. As a result of the research, I "agree" with school administrators' perceptions of intellectual capital awareness and use; And that the perceptions of innovation management are "totally agree". According to the gender variable, the use of intellectual capital and innovation management ability perception did not differ significantly. According to the manager, the intellectual capital of the intellectual capital was significantly different in favor of the school principals in the structural capital, information and information technologies, innovation and R & D sub-dimensions, and in the sense of innovation management competence, there was a meaningful difference in favor of school principals. A significant difference was found in the innovation and R & D sub-dimension of the intellectual capital in favor of the second group between school managers with 1-5 years of seniority and school managers with 6-15 years of seniority according to seniority. With the perception of innovation management ability, the intellectual capital; Human capital, information and information technology, innovation and R & D, structural capital and relational capital sub-dimensions.
