Abstract

The aim of this research is to examine the view of child development teachers, preschool teachers, and mothers, who have close relationships with children, about digital children's games. In this study, in which a qualitative research pattern is used, a structured interview about digital children's game was carried out with 11 child development and 13 preschool teachers, and 18 mothers. The responses to questions were evaluated in terms of content under these 5 titles: ' digital game perceptions ', 'digital game content and preferences of children', 'children's digital game periods', 'criticisms about digital games' and 'the difference between live and digital games' and the highlighted features for each title was specified. Obtained results were recorded on SPSS 20 package program. According to the results of research, it was determined that the digital games are played via electronic devices, the content of these games are mostly composed of violent elements, the children spent time with an average of 1-3 hours for playing digital games, the greatest difference between digital games and live games is in terms of socialization, and the most negative problems among positive and negative feedbacks for digital games are psychological problems.
