This program involves the students studying at the 3rd and 4th grades of primary schools, who are not identified to be in need of special education, yet who are unable to attain the achievements determined for Turkish and Math courses within the framework of the Remedial Education Program in Primary Schools. The aim of this research is to analyze this program which has been implemented for the first time, on the basis of the observations and experiences of primary school teachers. An open-ended questionnaire was prepared to obtain the research data. The case study design among the qualitative research methods was used in the research and the data obtained were evaluated with content analysis method. According to the findings of the research, while 57.5% of the primary school teachers stated that the individuals included in IYEP were eligible for the levels of the modules, 42.5% of them stated that not all of them were eligible. According to another data, 72.5% of primary school teachers stated that they faced difficulties in the implementation and evaluation of IYEP. In addition, only 52.5% of the primary school teachers stated that the program supported individuals psycho-socially. },author={Hakan KAÇAR-Vedat UZ},year={2019},journal={The Journal of International Educational Sciences}}
