Yas Yaşantısında Travma Sonrası Büyümenin Yordayıcıları Olarak Duygusal Şemalar ve Öz Anlayış

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, yas yaşantısı olan bireylerin duygusal şemalarının ve öz anlayış düzeylerinin travma sonrası büyüme düzeylerini etkileme gücünün incelenmesidir. Araştırmaya 2021-2022 yılları arasında Türkiye’de bulunan ve daha önce bir yakınını kaybettiğini ifade eden 307 kişi katılmıştır. Çalışmada katılımcılardan istenilen verilerin toplanması amacıyla “Demografik Bilgi Formu”, “Leahy Duygusal Şema Ölçeği”, “Öz Anlayış Ölçeği” ve “Travma Sonrası Büyüme Ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada ilişkisel tarama modelinden yararlanılmıştır. Değişkenler arasındaki ilişkiyi ortaya koymak amacıyla Pearson Momentler Çarpım Korelasyon Katsayısı; duygusal şemaların ve öz anlayışın travma sonrası büyüme üzerindeki yordayıcı etkisini belirlemek amacıyla regresyon analizi tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Korelasyon analizinin sonuçlarına göre; duygusal şemalar, öz anlayış ve travma sonrası büyüme arasında anlamlı ilişkiler ortaya çıkmıştır. Değişkenler arasındaki yordayıcı ilişkilere yönelik bulgular, ilgili literatür ışığında tartışılmış ve önerilere yer verilmiştir.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the influence of emotional schemas and self-compassion levels of individuals who have experienced grief on their post-traumatic growth levels. 307 people who were in Turkey between the years 2021-2022 and who stated that they had lost a relative before participating in the research. To collect the data requested from the participants in the study, "Demographic Information Form", "Leahy Emotional Schema Scale", "Self-Compassion Scale" and "Post Traumatic Growth Scale" were used. The relational survey model was used in the research. To reveal the associations among variables pearson correlation moments coefficient was used. Also to determine the predictive power of emotional schemas and self-compassion on post-traumatic growth, regression analysis was used. Correlation analysis indicated that there exist significant relationships between the variables. The findings regarding the predictive relationships between the variables were discussed in consideration of the relevant literature and suggestions were given.
