Abstract
Sahne sanatlarında ve özellikle oyunculuk eğitiminde Stanislavski sistemi, Rus tiyatro uygulayıcısı Konstantin Stanislavski'nin yirminci yüzyılın ilk yarısında geliştirdiği oyuncu yetiştirmeye yönelik sistematik bir yaklaşımdır. Bu sistem duygusal deneyim ve bilinçaltı davranışı gibi daha az kontrol edilebilir diğer psikolojik süreçleri sempatik ve dolaylı olarak harekete geçirmek için oyuncunun bilinçli düşüncesini ve iradesini harekete geçirmeyi hedeflemektedir. Stanislavski, bu sistemini daha sonra Fiziksel Eylem Yöntemi olarak bilinen daha fiziksel temelli bir prova süreciyle sistemi daha da geliştirmiştir. Bu çalışma ise Stanislavski sisteminin gelişimini, bilimsel temellerini ve bu sistemin karakter inşa sürecinde kullanımını araştırmaktadır. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre Stanislavski’nin karakter oluşturma sistemi, bir karakterin her andaki motivasyonlarını, engellerini ve hedeflerini mükemmel bir şekilde anlaşılmasını amaçlamaktadır. Oyuncular bu tekniği genellikle, normal hayatın doğru bir tasvirini sunmaya çalıştıkları gerçekçi oyunlar için kullanırlar.

Abstract
The Stanislavski system in performing arts and especially in acting education is a systematic approach to actor training developed by the Russian theater practitioner Konstantin Stanislavski in the first half of the twentieth century. This system aims to activate the player's conscious thought and will to sympathetically and indirectly activate other less controllable psychological processes such as emotional experience and subconscious behavior. Stanislavski further developed this system with a more physically based rehearsal process later known as the Physical Action Method. This study investigates the factors that affect the development of the Stanislavski system and the growth of his theories, and the effect of the Stanislavski acting method on character creation. According to the findings obtained as a result of the study, Stanislavski's character creation system aims to perfectly understand a character's motivations, obstacles and goals at every moment. Players often use this technique for realistic games where they try to present an accurate depiction of normal life.
