Abstract
Bu çalışma, kitsch olgusunun sanat eğitimindeki yerini, sanat, estetik ve eleştirel pedagoji üçgeninde değerlendirilmektedir. Bu nedenle öğretmen adaylarının eleştirel pedagoji, Kitsch olgusu ve estetik beğeni ile ilgili görüşlerinin çeşitli değişkenler açısından incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Öğrencilerin görüşleri araştırmacılar tarafından hazırlanmış ve altı maddeden oluşan bir yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak belirlenmiştir. Her öğrenci ile görüşme yaklaşık kırk dakika sürmüştür. Çalışma nitel bir araştırma olup; betimsel-tarama yöntemiyle yapılandırılmıştır. Bilgiler literatür taraması ve derinlemesine görüşme yoluyla toplanmış ve yorumlanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler tümevarım veri analizi kullanılarak temalar haline dönüştürülmüş ve bu temalara göre frekans ve yüzdeleri hesaplanmıştır.

Abstract
This study examines the place of kitsch phenomenon in art education in the triangle of art, aesthetics and critical pedagogy. Thus, the main aim of the research is to examine prospective teachers’ views about critical pedagogy, phenomenon of kitsch, aesthetic according to various variables. Students views, in which a semi-structured interview technique was used, an interview form with six questions detected . Each interview with a student took fourty minutes. This study is a qualitative study and configured with descriptive-scanning method. Information gathered through literature scanning and depth interview, the data obtained is interpreted. By means of inductive data analysis, the information obtained was transformed into themes with frequency and percentage
