Abstract
Ud eğitiminin başarılı bir şekilde yürütülebilmesi; ud ders programlarının uygun amaçlara göre hazırlanmasına ve tercih edilen “metodoloji” nin amaca hizmet ölçüsüne bağlıdır. Bu ölçüden hareketle Türkiye’nin akademi içindeki ve dışındaki usta ud icracılarının; ud eğitimindeki üslup ve ekol tercihlerine yönelik görüşlerini incelemek araştırmanın temel amacını oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada nitel araştırma yaklaşımı esas alınmıştır ve araştırma modellerinden, durum çalışması modeli kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubunu 10 usta ud icracısı oluşturmaktadır. Veriler yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formu yardımıyla elde edilmiştir. Veri analizi yapılırken “içerik analizi” tercih edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda usta ud icracılarının ud eğitimindeki üslup ve ekol tercihlerine yönelik görüşleri elde edilmiştir.

Abstract
A successful process of oud education depends on oud lesson programs prepared according to proper goals and a methodology in accordance with the objective. With reference to this principle, the main aim of the study is to investigating the opinions of virtuoso oud-performers’ about their styles, ecole preferences in oud education. Qualitative research design is preferred and case study is used. The study group consists of 10 oud virtuosos. Data were collected through semi-structured interview form. Data analysis is done through content analysis. At the end of the study; the opinions of virtuoso oud-performers’ about their styles, ecole preferences and technics that they used in oud education were found.
