Abstract
Bu araştırma yatılı kurumda otizm spektrum bozukluğu olan bireylerle (OSB) çalışan bakım elemanlarının OSB’li bireylerle çalışırken yaşadıkları problemler ve bu problemlere çözüm önerileri geliştirmeyi amaçlamıştır. Bu amaçla İstanbul Bakım Rehabilitasyon ve Aile Danışma Merkezinde çalışan on beş bakım elemanıyla görüşülmüştür. Araştırmada yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme tekniği kullanılmıştır. Bakım elemanlarına beş adet açık uçlu soru sorulmuştur. Sorular betimsel analiz yöntemiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre bakım elamanlarının OSB’li bireylerle çalışırken büyük çoğunluğu OSB’li çocuklarla çalışırken fiziksel olarak kendilerini yetersiz hissettikleri, psikolojik sorunlar yaşadıkları ve bundan dolayı sinirli, gergin, stresli, yorgun oldukları ve bununda günlük yaşamlarını olumsuz etkilediğini belirtmişlerdir. Bunlara ek olarak bakım elemanlarının büyük çoğunluğu aldıkları maaştan memnun olduklarını belirmişler, çocuklara nasıl davranacakları konusunda ise bilgi eksikliği hissettiklerini ifade etmişlerdir. Bu sebepten dolayı çalışan bireylere hizmet içi eğitim verilebilir.

Abstract
The aim of this research was to find out the problems that the caregivers face while working with the autism spectrum disorder in the boarding institution and suggest solutions for these problems. For this purpose, fifteen caregivers working in the Istanbul care rehabilitation and family counselling canter were interviewed. Semi-structured interview method was used in the research. The caregivers were asked five open-ended questions. The results were analysed by descriptive analysis. For this purpose, fifteen caregivers working in the Istanbul care rehabilitation and family counselling center were interviewed. According to the research results, it has been seen that the caregivers have some problems while working with the kids with OSB. They have stated that they don't know how to treat them properly, they feel physically inadequate, they have some psychological problems and therefore they become angry, nervous, stressed and tired, and these all have negative effects on their daily lives. In addition to these, the vast majority of caregivers stated that they were satisfied with the salary they received, they stated that they felt lack of knowledge about how they would treat children. In this way, in-service training can be given to working people.
