Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, öğrencilerin sınıf içerisindeki duygusal iklime yönelik algılarını belirlemek için geliştirilen ‘Sınıf Duygusal İklimi Ölçeği’nin geçerlik ve güvenirliğini incelemektir. Araştırmanın iki farklı çalışma grubunu 364 (183 kız, 181 erkek) ve 304 (133 kız, 171 erkek) ortaokul öğrencisi oluşturmuştur. Geliştirilen ölçeğin yapı geçerliğini test etmek amacıyla açıklayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda ölçeğin, olumlu ve olumsuz duygusal iklim olarak isimlendirilen iki faktörlü yapıya sahip olduğu ve toplam 28 madde içerdiği belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte olumlu duygusal iklim için Cronbach alfa güvenirlik kat sayısı .94, olumsuz duygusal iklim için .91; ölçeğin geneline yönelik ise .94 olarak tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca test-tekrar test güvenirliğinin incelenmesi sonucunda da ölçeğin geneline korelasyon değerinin .83 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Bu kapsamda sınıfın duygusal iklimini ölçmek amacıyla geliştirilen bu ölçeğin geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olduğu belirtilebilir.

Abstract
This study aims examining the validity and reliability of Classroom Emotional Climate Scale developed to assess students' perceptions of the emotional climate in the classroom. There were two participant-groups in the study consisted of 364 (183 female, 181 male) and 304 (133 female, 171 male) middle-school students. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses were used to test the the construct validity of the scale. The results indicated that the scale were made up of two factors named as positive and negative emotional climate including totaly 28 items. Moreover, the Cronbach alpha coefficients of the two factors were .94 for positive emotional climate, .91 for negative emotional climate, .94 for the full scale. Also, the test-retests reliability coefficients of the scale was .83. As a result, it may be proposed that the this scale is valid and reliable for using to assess students' perceptions of the emotional climate in the classroom.
