Abstract

This study aimed to determine their views on the effectiveness of the professional works of the special education teachers was conducted with 24 teachers work in special education business practice center and special education vocational training center in the 2014-2015 academic years in Konya. This data were obtained through semi-structured interview form and this obtained data was analyzed descriptively. During the preparation of the interview questions, literature and relevant legislation was reviewed and question pool was formed. Three experts presented the opinions on the questions and the pre-treatment was performed. Interviews were conducted with 24 teachers who accepted the interviews and work in special education business practice center and special education vocational training center. From the obtained data were reached the following conclusions; teachers' professional works were carried out twice a year, it was made because of the legislation, it was carried out theoretically, the lack of contribution to the school, teachers and students, the lack of application-oriented subjects.
