The aim of this study is to conceptualize the level of awareness of secondary school technology regarding technology use and risks. In the case of a qualitative research model, 99 secondary school students (50 boys, 49 girls) were enrolled in 2 state secondary schools in Burdur in the second semester of 2017-2018 academic year. The description of the study was collected with a semi-structured interview form and analyzed by content analysis method. Because the research is long in the time when adolescents devote their tools. In addition, the reasons why adolescents frequently use technology; with reasons such as play and entertainment, addiction, boredom, education and homework, watching videos or movies, spending time on social media. Adolescents' families or teachers react; neglecting the lessons depending on adolescents' use of technology and decreasing the success of the lesson, having problems in the family, having problems in the family, not being able to meet with friends and using other options. Also understand that technology is negative in children; in a way that they receive training for a part of the technology as well as those who do not want to receive training. As a result, it was seen that psychological counseling studies on risky and prevention of technology use of adolescents, families and teachers are required.
