Abstract
Teknolojideki hızlı değişim birçok alanda olduğu gibi eğitim sistemlerinin de değişim ve dönüşümüne neden olmuştur. Eğitim ortamından, kullanılan araç gereçlere kadar birçok şey değişime uğramıştır. Sınıf düzeninde gerçekleştirilen dersler sınıf duvarları dışına taşmak zorunda kalmıştır. Bu da farklı tanım ve uygulamalara sahip olan sınıf dışı eğitim kavramını ortaya çıkarmıştır. Bu doğrultuda çalışmada, literatürde sınıf dışı eğitim, açık hava etkinlikleri, dış mekân eğitimi, okul dışı öğrenme faaliyetleri, çevre eğitimi ve doğa eğitimi gibi terimlerle ifade edilen sınıf dışı eğitime ilişkin kavram analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Nitel araştırma kapsamında doküman analizi olarak yapılandırılmış olan araştırmada Rodgers'ın kavramsal analiz modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada, ulusal ve uluslararası lisansüstü tez, kitap ve makalelerden oluşan 51 araştırma, çalışmaya dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmada sınıf dışı eğitimin uluslararası ve ulusal çalışmalarda nasıl tanımlandığı, sınıf dışı eğitimin kökenleri, gelişim süreci, günümüzdeki uygulama alanları dikkate alınarak kavrama ilişkin daha tutarlı bir anlayışın oluşmasına katkı sağlamaya çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
The rapid change in technology has caused change and transformation in education systems as in many other fields. Many things have changed from the educational environment to the tools and equipment used. Activity-based lessons have moved outside the classroom walls and life and school have started to intertwine. This has led to the idea of utilizing all kinds of out-of-school learning environments, and the concept, which is expressed with definitions such as "out-of-school education, out-of-class education, nonformal education, informal education, out-of-school learning, out-of-class learning", often comes to the fore as out-of-class education in the literature. The fact that the concept is expressed in more than one way may cause difficulties for teachers and researchers in terms of comprehensibility. Defining the concept of out-of-class education in a more comprehensive and clearer way will contribute to teachers, students and researchers to have a more consistent understanding of this issue and will positively affect the quality of the studies to be conducted in the field. Accordingly, in this study, a concept analysis of out-of-class education was conducted. In the research, it is aimed to reveal how out-of-class education is defined in international and national studies, to analyze the concept of out-of-class education in depth, to contribute to the understanding of out-of-class education and its place in education by addressing its origins, development process and current application areas. Within the scope of qualitative research, a document analysis structured as document analysis.
