This study aims to examine primary school students’ environmental awareness and emotional attitudes based on teacher perceptions through their art projects and recycling exhibitions. A mixed-methods survey design was employed, and the sample consisted of 35 primary students from primary schools in the town of Karşıyaka, Turkey, during the 2024–2025 academic year. Students’ artwork was evaluated by two teachers using the “Environmental Awareness Checklist” and analyzed with independent samples t-tests. The findings indicated that students in the high-attitude group scored significantly higher on each item and overall mean compared to the moderate/low-interest group. These results support that art projects are an effective tool for observing students’ emotional attitudes and environmental awareness.
