Abstract
Bu çalışma, ortam odaklı sanatın (site-specific art) sanat eğitimi içerisindeki eğitimsel potansiyelini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Ortam odaklı sanat, sanat eserini yalnızca fiziksel bir nesne olarak değil, üretildiği ve deneyimlendiği mekânla kurduğu ilişki üzerinden ele alan çağdaş bir sanat pratiğidir. Çalışmada ortam odaklı sanatın tarihsel gelişimi, temel kuramsal yaklaşımları ve sanat eğitimine sağlayabileceği katkılar değerlendirilmiştir. Ayrıca Türkiye’de güzel sanatlar fakültelerinde verilen Ortam Odaklı Sanat derslerinin mevcut durumu incelenmiş ve bu derslerin öğrencilerin mekânsal farkındalık, eleştirel düşünme, yaratıcılık ve disiplinlerarası çalışma becerilerine katkıları tartışılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları, ortam odaklı sanatın yalnızca bir sanat üretim yöntemi değil, aynı zamanda deneyim temelli öğrenmeyi destekleyen güçlü bir eğitim yaklaşımı olduğunu göstermektedir.

Abstract
This study aims to investigate the educational potential of site-specific art within art education. Site-specific art is a contemporary art practice that addresses the artwork not merely as a physical object, but through its relationship with the space where it is produced and experienced. The historical development, foundational theoretical approaches, and contributions of site-specific art to art education are evaluated. Additionally, the current status of Site-Specific Art courses offered in faculties of fine arts in Turkey is examined, and the contributions of these courses to students' spatial awareness, critical thinking, creativity, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills are discussed. Research results indicate that site-specific art is not only an artistic production method but also a powerful educational approach that supports experience-based learning.
