HASTANEDE GÖREV YAPAN ÇOCUK GELİŞİMCİLERİN MESLEKİ BENLİK SAYGILARI İLE YAŞAM DOYUMU DÜZEYLERİNİN FARKLI DEĞİŞKENLERE GÖRE İNCELENMESİ

Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, kamu hastanelerinde görev yapan çocuk gelişimcilerin mesleki benlik saygıları ile yaşam doyum düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, Türkiye’nin çeşitli illerinde kamu hastanelerinde görevini sürdürmekte olan ve araştırmaya gönüllü katılım sağlayan 65 çocuk gelişimci araştırmanın çalışma grubunu oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada nicel araştırma yöntemlerinden genel tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmaya dahil olan çocuk gelişimcilere, kişisel bilgi formu, Yetim (1993) tarafından uyarlanan “Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeği” ile Arıcak (1999) tarafından geliştirilen “Mesleki Benlik Saygısı Ölçeği” çevrimiçi form halinde ulaştırılarak veriler toplanıp analiz edilmiştir. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda çocuk gelişimcilerin mesleki benlik saygısı ile yaşam doyumu arasında istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir ilişki görülmemiştir. Araştırmada hastanede görev yapan çocuk gelişimcilerin mesleki benlik saygısı ve yaşam doyumu düzeylerinin çeşitli değişkenlere göre anlamlı düzeyde farklılaşıp farklılaşmadığı analiz edilmiştir.

Abstract
The purpose of conducting this research is to examine the professional self-esteem and life satisfaction levels of child development specialists working in public hospitals. The research sample included 65 child development specialists from public hospitals in various provinces of Turkey who volunteered to take part in the study. For this study the survey research design was adopted. For the study, a personal information form, the "Life Satisfaction Scale" adapted by Yetim (1993), and the "Professional Self-Esteem Scale" developed by Arıcak (1999) were made accessible to all participants via the internet and the data was gathered and the analysed. The results showed no statistically significant relationship between professional self-esteem and life satisfaction of child development specialists. It was analyzed whether the professional self-esteem and life satisfaction levels of the child development specialists working in the hospital differed significantly according to various variables.
