Abstract
Bu çalışma ortaokul öğrencilerinin okula bağlılık durumlarına ilişkin görüşlerini ortaya koymak amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden olgu bilim deseni ile yürütülmüştür. Çalışma 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında Mardin ilinin Artuklu ilçesine bağlı ortaokullarda öğrenim gören 40 öğrencinin katılımı ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından oluşturulan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen veriler içerik analizi yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma kapsamında ulaşılan bulgular beş tema altında değerlendirilip yorumlanmıştır. Bu temalar: Duyuşsal bağlılık, bilişsel bağlılık, davranışsal bağlılık, ailelerin okula yönelik tutumu ve istenilen okul. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre öğrenciler okula yönelik olumlu duygularla arkadaş ve öğretmen etmenini daha çok ilişkilendirmişlerdir. Öğrenciler okula geliş amaçlarının yeni bilgiler öğrenmek ve meslek sahibi olmak olduğunu belirtmiştir. Öğrenciler kendilerini öğretmenlerine rahat ifade edebilirken okul yöneticilerine rahat ifade edemediklerini belirtmişlerdir. Ayrıca öğrencilerin fiziksel olarak daha donanımlı okullar arzu ettiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Ulaşılan sonuçlar literatür çerçevesinde tartışılıp bu sonuçlara ilişkin araştırmacı ve uygulayıcılara öneriler verilmiştir.

Abstract
This study was conducted to investigation the opinions of secondary school students with regard to their school engagement. The research was carried out with the phenomenology pattern, which is the qualitative research method. The study was carried out with the participation of 40 students who are studying in secondary schools in the Artuklu district of Mardin. In this study which is prepared by the researcher, was used as a data collection tool. The data obtained from the research were analyzed with content analysis. The findings attained within the scope of the research were evaluated and interpreted under five themes. These themes: Affective engagement, cognitive engagement, behavioral engagement, parents' attitude towards school, imagined school. According to the results of the research, students mostly associated positive feelings towards to school via the factor of friends and teachers. The students stated that the purpose of coming to school is to learn new information and to have a profession. Students can express themselves to their teachers easily, they cannot express themselves to school administrators in the same way. It has been concluded that students also dream of physically more equipped schools. The results were discussed within the framework of the literature and suggestions were given to practitioners and researchers in regard to these results.
