Matematik Öğretmeni Adaylarının Analitik Geometri Dersine Yönelik Tutumlarının Belirlenmesi: Bir Ölçek Geliştirme Çalışması

Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, matematik öğretmeni adaylarının analitik geometri dersine yönelik tutumlarını belirleyen bir ölçek geliştirmektir. Tutumun farklı boyutlarını içeren 44 maddelik taslak ölçek, 2021-2022 eğitim-öğretim yılının bahar yarıyılında Ege Bölgesindeki iki devlet üniversitesinde öğrenim görmekte olan 302 matematik öğretmenine uygulandı. Yapılan açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda 17 ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda 2 madde ölçekten çıkarıldı. Bu analizlere göre testin uyum indekslerine uygun olduğu ve 5 faktörden oluştuğu belirlendi. Söz konusu olan faktörler incelendiğinde; ilk faktör olan sevgi-zevk boyutunda 8, ikinci faktör olan meslek-önem boyutunda 4, üçüncü faktör olan korku boyutunda 3, dördüncü faktör olan yetenek-beceri boyutunda 4 ve beşinci faktör olan güven boyutunda 4 madde olduğu görüldü. Geliştirilen ölçekle ilgili (Cronbach Alfa> 0.72) güvenirlik katsayısı 0.880 bulundu.

Abstract
The aim of this research is to develop a scale that determines the attitudes of pre-service mathematics teachers towards the analytical geometry course. The 44-item draft scale, which includes different dimensions of attitude, was applied to 302 mathematics teachers studying at two state universities in the Aegean Region in the spring term of 2021-2022 academic year. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, 17 items were removed from the scale, and as a result of the confirmatory factor analysis, 2 items were removed from the scale. According to these analyzes, it was determined that the test was suitable for the fit indices and consisted of 5 factors. It was observed that there were 8 items in the love-pleasure dimension, which was the first factor, 4 items in the occupational-importance dimension, which was the second factor, 3 items in the anxiety dimension, which was the third factor, 4 items in the fourth factor, ability-skill dimension, and 4 items in the fifth factor, the confidence dimension. The (Cronbach’s Alpha> 0.72) reliability for the developed scale was found to be 0.880.
