Özel Eğitim Sınıflarında Uygulanan Öğretim Sürecinde Karşılaşılan Sorunlara İlişkin Öğretmen Görüşlerinin İncelenmesi

Abstract
Araştırmanın temel amacı, özel eğitim sınıflarında uygulanan öğretim sürecinde karşılaşılan sorunlara ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Sakarya ili Sapanca ilçesinde görev yapan 21 kadın ve 9 erkek olmak üzere 30 özel eğitim öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden durum çalışması deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen “yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu” kullanılmıştır. Görüşme formunda yer alan soruların, görüşme amacına uygun olup olmadığını belirlemek amacıyla, uzman görüşüne başvurulmuştur. Uzmanlardan gelen öneriler ve eleştiriler doğrultusunda gerekli düzeltmeler yapılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin çözümlenmesinde betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen veriler incelendiğinde; özel eğitim sınıflarında uygulanan öğretim programının yetersiz olduğu, ders işleniş süresinin uzun olduğu ve buna bağlı olarak öğrencilerin dikkatinin erken dağıldığı, veliler ile işbirliği içerisinde sürecin devam etmesi gerektiği, derslerde özel eğitim öğretmeninin yanında rehber öğretmen ve stajyer öğrencinin olması gerektiği ve öğrenciler değerlendirilirken bireysel farklılıklara dikkat edilmesi gerektiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin özel eğitim sınıflarında uygulanan öğretim sürecine ilişkin görüşlerine dayanarak çeşitli önerilere yer verilmiştir.

Abstract
The main purpose of the research is to determine the opinions of teachers about the problems encountered in the teaching process applied in special education classes. The study group of the research consists of 30 special education teachers, 21 women and 9 men, working in Sapanca district of Sakarya province. The case study design, one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the research. In the research, "semi-structured interview form" developed by the researcher was used as a data collection tool. Expert opinion was sought in order to determine whether the questions in the interview form were suitable for the purpose of the interview. Necessary corrections were made in line with the suggestions and criticisms from the experts. Descriptive analysis method was used in the analysis of the data obtained in the research. When the data obtained as a result of the research is examined, the conclusion reached was as follows: The curriculum applied in special education classes is insufficient, the duration of the lesson is long and the attention of the students is distracted early accordingly, the process should continue in cooperation with the parents, the guidance teacher and intern students should be present in the lessons besides the special education teacher, and attention should be paid to individual differences while evaluating the students. Various suggestions have been made based on the teachers' views on the teaching process applied in special education classes.
