Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, STEAM eğitimi sürecine katılan 5-6 yaş çocuklarının okula hazır oluş düzeylerini incelemektir. Araştırma, ön ve son test, kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen ile yürütülmüştür. Araştırmanın katılımcılarını Türkiye’nin güneybatısında bulunan bir ilin bağımsız anaokulunda öğrenim gören 55 çocuk oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veriler, okula hazır oluş testi aracılığıyla elde toplanmıştır. Verilerin analizinde ilişkili ve ilişkisiz örneklemler için t testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen sonuçlara göre, STEAM eğitiminin çocukların okula hazır oluşları üzerinde anlamlı etkisi bulunmaktadır. STEAM eğitimi süreci deney grubu çocuklarının görsel, işitsel algı ve problem çözme becerilerini olumlu yönde etkilemiştir. Bulgular STEAM öğrenme sürecinin çocukların okula hazır oluşlarını desteklediğine işaret etmektedir.

Abstract
This research examines the school readiness levels of 5–6-year-old children participating in the STEAM education process. The research was conducted with a pre-post-test and a quasi-experimental design with the control group. The study participants comprised 55 children studying in a kindergarten in a province southwest of Turkey. In the study, data were collected by hand through the school readiness test. A t-test was used for paired and independent samples in the data analysis. According to the results obtained in the research, STEAM education has a significant effect on children's school readiness. The STEAM education process positively affected the experimental group's visual-auditory perception and problem-solving skills. Findings indicate that the STEAM learning process supports children's school readiness.
