Öğretmenlerin Toplumsal Cinsiyet Eşitliğine Yönelik Tutumları Ölçeğinin Geliştirilmesi: Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Abstract
Bu araştırmada lise düzeyindeki öğrencilerin görüşlerine göre öğretmenlerin toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliğine yönelik tutumlarını ölçmek için geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracının geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Ölçme aracının geliştirilmesinde sistematik bir yaklaşım izlenmiştir. Pilot uygulama sonuçları üzerinde açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizleri yapılmıştır. Rassal kümeleme örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 1830 lise öğrencisi, ölçek geliştirme sürecinin örneklemini oluşturmuştur. AFA ve DFA sonucunda ölçeğin 21 madde ve 4 alt boyuttan oluştuğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu boyutlar “Mesleki yönlendirme”, “Derse Katılım”, “Kişisel Hak ve Nitelikler” ve “Sorumluluk Bilinci” olarak isimlendirilmiştir. İkinci düzey DFA ile de sınanan ölçeğin uyum değerleri yeterli veya kabul edilebilir düzeydedir. Ölçeğin güvenirliğine ilişkin hesaplamalarda Cronbach’s alpha iç tutarlılık katsayısının .903 olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bulgular ışığında 5’li likert tipinde hazırlanan Öğretmenlerin Toplumsal Cinsiyet Eşitliğine Yönelik Tutumları Ölçeği’nin öğrencilerin algısına göre öğretmenlerin toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliğine yönelik tutumlarını ölçmek için geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract
In this research, it was aimed to develop a valid and reliable measuring tool to measure teachers' attitudes towards gender equality according to the opinions of high school students. A systematic approach was followed in the development of the measuring tool. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyzes were conducted on the pilot application results. 1830 high school students determined by random cluster sampling method constituted the sample of the scale development process. As a result of EFA and CFA, it was determined that the scale consists of 21 items and 4 sub-dimensions. These sub-dimensions are named "Vocational Orientation", "Class Participation", "Personal Rights and Qualifications" and "Responsibility Consciousness". The fit values of the scale, which was also tested with the second level CFA, are sufficient or at an acceptable level. In calculations regarding the reliability of the scale, Cronbach's alpha internal consistency coefficient was determined to be .903. In the light of the findings, it was concluded that the Teachers' Attitudes Towards Gender Equality Scale, prepared in a 5-point Likert type, is a valid and reliable measurement tool to measure teachers' attitudes towards gender equality according to the students' perception.
