Abstract
Özel yetenekli, üstün yetenekli, deha gibi farklı şekilde adlandırılan bireyler geleceğe yön verebilecek kişiler olarak değerlendirilmektedir. Bu bireylerin ihtiyaç duydukları eğitim koşulları sağlanarak doğru yönlendirme yapılırsa insanlık için faydalı olabilecekleri görülmektedir. Bu durumdan dolayı özel yetenekli kişilerin tespit edilmesi ve eğitimi önemli bir konudur. Türk eğitim tarihinde özel yeteneklilerin eğitimi denilince ilk akla gelen, saray okulu olarak da bilinen Enderun mektepleridir. Günümüze bakıldığında ise özel yeteneklilerin eğitimi için kurulan bilim sanat merkezleri bulunmaktadır. Enderun mektebi ile bilim ve sanat merkezlerinin; kuruluşu, öğrenci alımı, eğitim-öğretim faaliyetleri ve işleyişine bu çalışmada yer verilmektedir. Çalışmada nitel araştırma türlerinden tarihi yöntem kullanılmış, veriler literatür taraması ile elde edilmiştir.

Abstract
Individuals referred to as gifted, talented, or geniuses are considered individuals who can shape the future. It is observed that if the educational conditions they need are provided and proper guidance is given, they can be beneficial for humanity. Therefore, the identification and education of gifted individuals are important issues. When it comes to the education of gifted individuals in Turkish educational history, the first thing that comes to mind is the Enderun schools, also known as palace schools. Looking at the present day, there are science and art centers established for the education of gifted individuals. The establishment, student admission, educational activities, and functioning of Enderun schools and science and art centers are addressed in this study. The study uses the historical method, one of the qualitative research types, and the data is obtained through literature review.
